Good value for price, low quality interior
by Ash on 1/29/2026 11:47:45 PM
This car checks all the boxes for a decent sized suv. It’s a Toyota so it’s been reliable so far, and the service is always great. Downsides are that the car has a lot of road noise, and the interior is cheaply made. I find the regular Highlander I owned before was a much better “ride” and more fun to drive. The regular Highlander was just way too small for me. The grand is the perfect size. If Toyota can fix the road noise and have better quality interior I would give it 5 stars. I will probably look at the Lexus TX for my next car (supposedly the same as the grand Highlander but the luxury version) - 4.0
Its a good vehicle

I have owned this vehicle since July 2023. I bought it for the size and am a loyal Toyota owner. cons: -the cupholders in the 2nd row suck if you have the bench seat. You can fit a water bottle is all. -both sides of my cv axles have went out already and still waiting on parts as they are backordered -the gas tank on gas model is very small i average just 300-315 miles per tank so frequent fill ups -lack of features compared to other vehicles in class - no storage under the back like other models have -tires it came with are cheap--- already need replaced at 40k miles!! most new cars ive owned is 60-70k before needed tires pros: - the size is nice -its dependable bc a toyota -the puddle lights when you walk up to the car in dark is nice to light up - 5.0
My honest opinion
by Steve on 11/12/2025 1:37:05 AM
I purchased the 2026 Toyota grand Highlander platinum hybrid max I wasn’t looking for a grand Highlander. It just happened to be at the dealership when the person who ordered the vehicle change their mind. I got it for 58K which is good deal for that vehicle, but I could not be happier, averaging 26 miles per gallon I also tried to gas model and found it to be underpowered, but the hybrid max smooth, and I love it
